A romantic drama starring Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow. Set in the Brighton Beach neighborhood of Brooklyn, Leonard Kraditor's (Phoenix) parents hope he will marry a nice, attractive woman (Vinessa Shaw) who likes him and seems perfect for him.
