Leighton Meester challenged by movie
Leighton Meester found working on her latest movie "challenging".
The 25-year-old star plays unhinged college student Rebecca in 'The Roommate' and though she enjoyed developing such a complex character, she admits the project hasn't been easy.
She said: "It's definitely not been the easiest role but I've enjoyed developing a character that has so much depth.
"I love the dynamic between her and her parents and her and her roommate Sara. In fact, how she feels about women in general. I got to develop a past for her and to talk to some doctors about what her condition is, where it might come from and what it means.
"It's been challenging but fun at the same time."
While Leighton hasn't experienced anything like those reflected in 'The Roommate', she admits she has had difficulties living with other people.
She said: "I've had crazy roommates - not this crazy though, luckily!
"I've had roommates who were a little too nosey, a little too in your business, which is something I think a lot of people can relate to.
"I've had roommates that take your clothes and your food."
