Funnyman John Goodman is of best known for his portrayal of husband and dad Dan Conner on the TV series Roseanne. He earned a Golden Globe and several Emmy nominations for the role, which he occupied from 1988-1997. He's also been a recurrent host of the late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live.

Goodman is noted for his performances in films by the Coen brothers. This list includes Raising Arizona (1987), Barton Fink (1991) & 1997's The Big Lebowski. He's also famous for his voice work, which can be heard in numerous Disney pictures, including the titles Monsters, Inc. (2001) and Cars (2006).

Goodman has won two American Comedy Awards.
