Anne Hathaway thinks 'One Day' fans have no faith in her.

The Oscar-nominated actress will soon star in the adaptation of David Nicholls' novel, where she plays a woman from Yorkshire, England, and she admits few people believe she will do the character Emma justice.

She said: "I've had people come up to me who have seen it actually and they say, 'I didn't think you could pull it off.' And people feel inclined to tell me that they really had no faith in me whatsoever."

However, the 'Devil Wears Prada' beauty - who stars alongside Jim Sturgess in the romantic drama - is glad she has managed to prove people wrong, although she is concerned not everyone will agree with her.

She added to MTV News: "So far, it's ended with a, 'But you surprised me, and I really enjoyed your performance.' But I'm waiting for that person to come up and say, 'Well I knew you couldn't do it.' "

Anne's next big role is as Catwoman in Batman movie 'The Dark Knight Rises', which will be released in 2012.
