Jessica Chastain is set to star in Kathryn Bigelow's Osama bin Laden death movie.

The 'Help' actress has been approached to play the part of a field intelligence analyst who helps track down the terrorist leader - who was behind the September 11 attacks on New York's Twin Tower in 2001 - in the movie, which is due for release later this year.

The film, believed to be called 'Kill bin Laden', had to be adapted with a new script when Osama was found in a hideout in Pakistan and killed in a dawn raid last year.

Oscar-winner Kathryn is working with 'The Hurt Locker' screenwriter Mark Boal on the movie, and he was able to secure intimate access with the Navy SEAL (Sea, Air and Land) team who eventually assassinated the criminal mastermind.

Although best known for her roles in 'Tree of Life' and racial drama 'The Help', Jessica's 2011 also saw her play the part of a Mossad agent in East Berlin in 'The Debt'.
