About Jason Isaacs(Click Here To Hide)

English actor Jason Isaacs is a household name due to his recurring role as death eater Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. He's appeared in nearly all of the series' installments, starting with 2002's Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Prior to making his big screen debut, Isaacs was busy honing his acting chops on the London stage. A handful of his most praised performances came during the early 90's, with one of them being his portrayal of Louis Ironson in the Royal National Theatre premières of Tony Kushner's two-part Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes" (1992 & 1993).

Jason scored his break out role in American film when he starred opposite Mel Gibson in the 2000 war actioner The Patriot. Set during the American Revolution, the British actor plays the film's main antagonist, Col. William Tavington, who's also the black-hearted opponent of Gibson's hero character Benjamin Martin.
