Jared Harris is known to many television viewers as Lane Pryce from the popular AMC series "Mad Men". He played the part from 2009 until 2012, winning a Screen Actors Guild Award along the way with the rest of the cast for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series (2010). Harris also has a number of dynamic film roles under his belt, with one of the more recent being the Guy Ritchie-directed mystery sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011). The British actor stars opposite Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as the villainous Professor Moriarty in the flick.
Among the numerous projects Harris has lined up for 2012 is the historical bio-drama Lincoln, which has him working alongside screen vets like Daniel Day-Lewis & Tommy Lee Jones to portray Union army general Ulysses S. Grant. After the release of Lincoln, Harris can next be seen in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013). a fantasy adventure drama based on the first book of the best-selling fantasy series of the same name by Cassandra Clare.
