A 2012 horror film directed by Bradley Parker and starring Jesse McCartney, Devin Kelly, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips, Ingrid Bolso Berdal & Dimitri Diatchenko. A group of six young vacationers who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an "extreme" tour guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, the group soon find themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone. Based on the 1986 nuclear disaster in Ukraine, Chernobyl Diaries follows writer Oren Peli's story "The Diary of Lawson Oxford".
