Brendan Fraser to star in Split Decisions

Movie Description(Click Here To Hide)
Loosely adapted from the classic 1932 horror film starring Boris Karloff, The Mummy is set in Egypt, where over 3,000 years ago the high priest Imhotep (played by Arnold Vosloo) was given the all-important assignment of preparing the recently dead for their journey into the afterlife. However, Imhotep made one terrible mistake - he became smitten with Anck-Su-Namun, the mistress of the Pharaoh himself. Driven mad by jealousy and love, Imhotep murdered the Pharaoh, and his punishment was to be buried alive and suffer the torment of an eternal life in his wretched tomb. In 1925, a band of adventurers seeking fame and fortune - led by Rick O'Connel (Brendan Fraser), an American expatriate who has joined the foreign legion, and Evelyn Carnarvon (Rachel Weisz), an amateur archeologist - find a previously unknown burial site in Egypt. The team starts to dig, hoping to find lost riches, but instead they disturb the tomb of Imhotep, and soon the cursed priest rises from his grave to wreck vengeance on humanity.

Brendan Fraser is set to star in 'Split Decisions'.

The 'Bedazzled' actor will play the lead in Damian Lee's action-thriller as a father who defends his two children from murderers.

The storyline sees the two children (Holly Deveaux and Christian Martin) witness a brutal killing during a camping trip, prompting the two murderous brothers who committed the crime ('Prison Break's Dominic Purcell and 'American History X' star Ethan Suplee) to hunt them down in an attempt to silence them. Brave father Brendan will step in to rescue them in the fast-paced flick.

The 43-year-old star will also produce along with Bill Marks and Gary Howsam, with Jeff Sackman as executive producer.

Brendan is best known for his roles in 'The Mummy' and 'The Journey To The Centre Of The Earth'.

He is currently embroiled in a legal battle with 'The Legend of William Tell' producer Todd Moyer, who is demanding $25,000 compensation after alleging that Brendan physically assaulted him twice.

Brendan sued Todd in May, claiming he has ruined the film and caused delays that forced Brendan to miss out on other work. He is seeking $3 million in damages.
